You’ll be able to apply a project template to an existing project, choosing whether to replace its future schedule, project details, or both.
Projects aren’t always created from a template from the start. Applying a template later will make it easier to use your standard project setup without having to recreate scheduled work and project details manually.

Managers will automatically follow project notifications when they create or star a project, are added as a project manager, or become a team manager. They will be able unfollow at any time.
Managers need to stay up to date as the projects and teams they’re responsible for change. Automatic subscriptions will help them receive relevant updates without needing to manually follow each project or team.

You’ll be able to move a project phase and its assignments together, making it easier to shift planned work to new dates without selecting assignments individually.
Project timelines often change as work is delayed, paused, or reprioritized. Moving phases and assignments together will make it easier to adjust project plans while keeping scheduled work aligned with the phase.

Phase budgets now display budget and remaining budget directly on each phase, with values shown in hours, days, or revenue depending on your planning settings. Users can also see totals on phases without budgets on billable projects.
Tracking phase budgets is easier when budget information is visible where you're planning work. This update helps you monitor progress against each phase budget without switching between views.

A new account setting lets Admins hide tentative projects and their allocations from Contributors with Planner access. When enabled, Contributors will only see confirmed projects across planners, schedules, and project lists.
Different teams need different levels of visibility into future work. This setting makes it easier to control who can see tentative projects while keeping confirmed work visible for day-to-day planning.

Reports now include two new effort metrics. Pending Actuals shows scheduled hours without corresponding actual hours (incomplete timesheets). Scheduled (Future) shows scheduled hours from today onwards.
