Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 14-day free trial work?

You'll have 14 days to explore Runn and see if it's a good fit for you. You'll get full access to all of Runn's features including the API, with no limits to the number of people or projects you can add. No credit card required and no strings attached!

What happens at the end of the trial?

If you added up to 5 people in your accout during your trial, you'll automatically join the Free plan and can continue using Runn. For larger teams, you can upgrade to a paid Pro or Enterprise plan at any time. If you feel like you need more time, please contact us to extend your trial.

What's the difference between person managed, resources and users?

Runn charges on the number of people managed. A "person managed" is typically referred to as a resource. That is, a person you are scheduling in Runn.

Users are the people you invite to your Runn account. Users are free in Runn and there is no limit to the number of users you can invite.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Subscription fees will be debited from your account at the start of each billing period. Bank transfer is available if you have an annual plan.

How does the annual subscription work?

We offer a 20% discount on our annual subscription. Payment must be made upfront for the number of people managed. We don't issue credits on annual subscriptions, so be mindful of this when estimating the number of people.

What happens when I add or remove people?

Runn will automatically move you to the Free plan when you have 5 or fewer people managed, or the Pro plan when you have more than 5 people. Placeholders, archived people and users are free.

For monthly subscriptions, at the start of each billing period you will be billed for the total number of managed people on that date. Prorated charges or credits for the previous month will also be applied.

For annual subscriptions, if you go over your purchased licenses, we'll pro-rate and add this to your renewal invoice or send another invoice mid-contract.

What if I want to cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription through the Billing page in your Runn account. You will continue to have access to Runn until your billing period is over.

Do I need to enter a credit card to try Runn?

No. Credit card details are not required for the 14-day trial and it is never required if you are on the Free plan (manage 5 or fewer people).

We are constantly balancing what types of projects we have coming up with what types of people we need to help build those products. That whole piece is a massive part of our business - managing allocations and hiring.

On any given day, I can see how our projects are tracking against their budget, evaluate their current and projected outcomes, which ensure we hit our project goals.

We needed a software tool to help us accurately monitor and track our projects, teams and individuals to ensure we are delivering on our time and budgetary project goals.
